A buddy of mine and fellow LEO who trains and teaches at KM OC texted me this story a little earlier today. The victim in this incident also trains at KM OC.

One of the things that really interested me was that in another interview Erickson stated that after doing the initial disarm the attacker kept coming. More evidence that one strike often isn’t enough in highly charged situations.
