Can anyone recommend an application that’ll convert flv files to dvd or mpg format? i’ve got some stuff on my pc that i’d like to put on dvd to practice with and watching videos on pc can be a tad bit tedious.

quote resqr1:Can you walk me through the you tube conversion. I can’t find any instructions for using this converter. You need to download a video first from youtube. Either use a site like this:
http://keepvid.com/ to download the video and then convert it with WinFF
Or install Real player (http://real.com) install their software and it will allow you to download youtube/flash videos from the website.

Once you get the video how you want it just burn the DVD with Windows Media Player, simple and it works

Here’s a video on YouTube that explains how to do it:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7tbR1Yp-F9QThis is the best free site I found to convert videos (you can only do 5 per day): http://www.mediaconverter.org/
Here’s another free site: http://www.mediaconverter.org/

Oopps! That 2nd free site should be: http://www.zamzar.com/url/
After you covert a video on this site, it will email the converted video to you. It may take 5 minutes or a couple of hours to get it.

I liked this link this software provides functions for conversion but in my case the quality of the video file became poorer after conversion…
