Is there a public list somewhere that lists all the Krav black belts? I’m specifically looking for a United States list. I think KM is still small enough that the number of black belts isn’t very large.

only about 10-11 active on the east coast and that includes all organizations

Contact the National Training Center. They should have the exact number.
There were like 88 when I passed the exam in 07. Probably have added about ten since.
Oh, BTW guys, the bi-annual Krav Maga black belt exam was this past Sunday.

I spoke to some black belts tonight who taught that morning. Even THEY didn’t know about it.
We coulda used you though. It was only Marcus and I (which was a load of fun). Kelly was not amused at our greco and judo shenanigans.
Sadly, only one liver shot to report, sir. They actually told me to cut it out…..how we miss you, Brent 🙁

Oh yeah, if you touch my diploma again th.t won’t be a joke!!I talked to Christian, he said it was fun fighting the only 2 guys shorter than him. Something about raining down destruction on a krav smurf and a guy who doesn’t speak english.

tried to get said list of bb’s from nat. training center. they said they only release that info to liscensees. That sucks.

I could see that if it were for privacy reasons. Maybe if you just asked for the number of black belts (that’s pretty vanilla), maybe they’d release that info:confused:

also..not all KM black belts in the USA are under the KMWW organization so that number could be misleading.

Err, Yeah, I think I was the recipient of that liver shot from the test. Ahh, such a fond memory for my liver. 🙂
Btw, I actually enjoyed the greco and judo shenanigans. Of course, I wasn’t the recipient of that. 😛

i have a question about an instructor who “says” he’s a black belt. i’m wondering if he’s legit or not because the stuff i’ve seen taught at his school is NOT krav maga.
