On March 11, 2011,  a massive 9.0 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Japan, triggering a deadly tsunami and causing unimaginable destruction.

Krav Maga Tokyo Training CenterOur Japanese affiliate Kokushi Matsumoto (Japan Krav Maga Federation) is responding to this devastating event with the creation of the "Northern Japan Revival Fund."  Details on this fund, and information as to where to make a donation, will be made available soon.

A message from Kokushi:

"It's been one week since the earthquake took place, and the number of people that have passed away by this disaster keeps increasing - and is currently over 7,000.

So many people lost their families, houses, and places of work, and are still suffering from lack of utilities, food, fuel, and other critical necessities. The people of Japan need strong support and immediate help from all over the world.

Japan Krav Maga Federation, a non profit association set up to spread Krav Maga in Japan, has been looking for the best way to help Northern Japan in this crisis and has decided to establish a fund to support the revival effort as soon as possible.

This fund requires strong assistance from the Krav Maga Worldwide families all over the world in the form of donations.  Japan Krav Maga Federation will send 100% of the monies collected by this fund to Northern Japan as a representative of Krav Maga Worldwide.

We appreciate all of your help and support.

Thank you very much for your understanding in advance."
