The problem with Victory is that they are unable to retain certified instructors and they have so many locations that there is no way they can cover all of the locations with a few people. My understanding based on trading e-mails with Kristina Hirsch is that the NTC is trying to find enough Krav instructors to get a dedicated Krav school up and going.
As for \”real\” Krav classes, provided a certified instructor is teaching you at Victory, then you are getting a \”real\” class. In my experience of 18 months with Victory, that was the case for roughly 10% of the classes I took. If you know of a place where they have a certified instructor teaching every time I would consider rejoining, but I doubt you will find that. Krav will always be a distant second fiddle at Victory.

They tried to get me to renew for one year last night because my contract is coming up. I said not right now politley, while wondering if I should ask for half my money back on the old contract since I had a certified instructor for about half of the time. I will be e-mailing John and I hope others here will do the same. Their licensee status needs revocation.

The instruction occasionally is okay when they can keep a certified instructor around, but they don’t seem to be able to keep them long. Frankly I think it is time for Orlando area KMer’s to begin bringing this up with the NTC. Victory has a stranglehold in Orlando and the boss is only interested in two things, money and notoriety.
