That sounds like the knee the face defense against a double leg shoot- sounds great on paper, hard to pull off in the split second window of opportunity.

I guess if you miss the kick and you do a 360 defense they bite down on your forearm you could punch under aiming for the throat.
Your arm might get messed up but at least you might live through it.
A multiple dog attack would be particularly nasty though.
