JF thats a pretty good find. I watched a bit of the Sanda. the question becomes how much of the system do you give away. And there are plenty of tutorials on youtube. I THINK Kravcam on youtube will have some good vids for you

    Re: Judo throws

I noticed that pretty much in every KM federation, there’s “o soto gari-like” throws.
But usually most of the “classic” hip and shoulder throws are advanced techniques.

Osoto Gari, Ouchi Gari, and all the other various trips and reaps are pretty efffective in a no gi clinch. I like Tia Otoshi myself. Spelling may be off as its been a long time that Ive looked at the judo guide. hahha

    Re: Judo throws

Judo actually consists of hundreds of various types of throws, flips and sweeps. Very complex system that is mostly just take downs . Most of the USA school’s that teach Judo really just focus on stand-up stuff and the grappling ground stuff is only a small portion.

I think BJJ is far far more effective to learn because it deals with ground fighting the best. For stand up stuff a good punch is better than a throw or flip I think and much easier to do.
