New book and questions …..

Just got the new yellow book today. All I can say is Wow !!!! This is more closer to what Fairbairn Sykes and Applegate Combatives that I trained in and this was very unexpected.

If I have any questions, I will ask but for now, I am just reading the book and I must say it is a very good book.

I had seen poor representations of Krav Maga before but this book really sets things straight. I am glad I got the yellow book today. Thank you and God Bless !!! 🙂

what do you mean by yellow book?
Are you talking about the book written by Imi and Eyal?

The Complete Krav Maga book by John Whitman and Darren Levine. It is yellow.

I didn’t know there was a yellow book by Imi and Eyal ?

I’d say those two are the best. And I’m sure the two coming out (advanced and beginner’s KM) will be great, too.

What about the one by Col. David Ben Asher’s book ” Fighting Fit ” ?

I saw that somewhere on the forum.

Fighting Fit is great to have for historica reasons since it was the first book to have KM in it and it came out over 20 years ago.
There are only a handful of KM books.
-Complete Krav Maga by Darren and John
-Krav Maga by David Kahn
-Advanced Krav Maga by David Kahn(out shortly)
-some book by some French guy
-How to Defend against armed assault by Imi and Eyal Yanilov

Not Krav related but “The Gift of Fear” is very interesting, and really gives you a good perspective on situational awareness.
