I remember reading a zombie survival guide that suggested the best possible weapon would be something like the link above. It also said the best transportation would be a bike, but I’d much rather risk car hopping.

I’ve got a Ruger SR556, a Beretta 92FS, a Remington 700 and a Remington 870. All four of those will fire Nato rounds through the barrel, which I figure there would be plenty of if there was a zombiepocalypse.

I believe the Zombie Survival Guide recommends a shaolin spade:
Although I’m a fan of any sort of bladed polearm for the task in general – halberd, glaive, bill hook. Out of biting range but can really mess around up there.
