I guess my link didn’t work 😳 so I’ll just give you the address here:
Battleground Training Center

Phone: 401-886-9229
Email: [email protected]May 10, 2005 at 4:04 pm #37791otto-mcnabMemberHey guys,
Classes are held at a place called Battleground training center. This link gives the address: https://kravmaga.com/RI.asp. KM is offered on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights at 6:30 pm (Grappling, Kali, JKD and Yoga at other times on other nights) As I understand it, payment options are flexible, but you’d have to talk to Chris Jacobs, the owner.
Class size varies. I’ve seen as few as 4 and as many as 15 or 16.
Hope that helps. 8)

I train there. It’s a lot closer than going to Boston. I like it. It’s new and just getting off the ground and currently it only offers training for level one but I can see that changing in the near future.

I’m sorta new here myself and for the last few days I’ve read most of the older posts on this forum. If you look back you’ll see that your question has been brought up by others and there have been some helpful replys. Check em out. 😀
March 30, 2005 at 9:06 pm #36862otto-mcnabMemberWell, I took Tae kwon do as a teenager and enjoyed it for a while. But I sorta drifted away from it as I got older. Plus, I wasn’t really interested in all the formalities that went with it.
I’m in my mid 30’s now and I first heard of Krav Maga from a novel called SPLINTER CELL (based on a computer game by Tom Clancy). In it, the main charachter is a secret agent guy and he’s into Krav Maga. I wonder if the author is too because there’s basically a commercial for Krav in the book. That is, he does a very good job of describing it’s origens, practices, uses and benefits. Well, I was looking to get into something physical and useful and KM seemed to fit perfectly. Luckily, a few months after I first heard of KM, a studio opened up 20 minutes away from where I live. Now I’m there as often as a married teacher with two small kids can be. 😀

I’m a 36 year old school teacher. I was active as a teenager and college student but became a computer nerd and got into online gaming – and a few lbs overweight. Last year I said, \”enough!\” and decided to be more active. I found Krav and haven’t looked back – or played any computer games!
