Re: Weapon techniques, variations
Thank you Don! While at it… do we train handling two weapons at once? For example having knife in one and stick/club in the other? This combo I find interesting myself while playing around… Seems kind of hard to defend against if you use the knife as jab-tool while closing distance and then following up with attacking with the club. Is this good thinking, or am I missing something?

Thank you for the info Kevin! Is there any place to see how the original curriculum looked? Is Boaz version it, or had he too added stuff?
A little OT: yes, I am aware the civilian evolved krav is “no less” than it was back in the days, rather the opposite which is great. But I sometimes wonder… when krav covers so much in present curriculums, it feels like it is easy to miss the fact that it is principle based. I have heared instructors say about tevhniques that you will understand why we do this or that like this when you get to G-levels to beginners. No wrong in that, but that kind of stretching of the learning curve creates a bit of doubt in the stuff one trains at the moment. Like it is always around the next corner you will get the really good stuff. Not sure if I have a point here, but perhaps others think the same?November 22, 2013 at 9:14 am #87941peternMemberRe: Welcome -cmon Introduce Yourself
Hello everyone! New to krav maga training and this forum, but I have been reading here for a year or two. The site is what got me training. Absolutely love krav and when not training I read and study about it as much as I can. To the point of total nerdism. This forum is invaluable!
