Brad,
Just wondering, do you know a guy named Mike Esser? I know he used to teach TKD at Droege’s school when we were in high school. Just wondering if he was still there. Also, do you live in powder springs or do you commute a ways to get there.January 8, 2005 at 3:28 am #35706pikemarshMemberIncognito is right, if the knee is locked out, its very easy. Why do you think so many athletes tear their knees up? Because many athletic movements cause you to lock your knee out, and less than their own body weight can cause it to blow out.
I’d say that the easiest way to hurt someone’s knee would be to kick from the outside and down on it, which will cause the ligaments to stress the wrong way and break.
I have torn both my MCLs and LCLs in football, and believe me, its much easier to do than you would think.

It has met a lot criticism because the marines that are taught it are not necessarily good h2h fighters. This is mainly due to the fact that they learn on ly the bare necessities of the system. However, an man that attends my church is an instructor trainer for MCMAP, and I assure you he can hold his own with any other fighting style. I guess it all goes back to how much training and instruction you are given, no matter what style.

I am just now starting to look into krav, and have never actually trained in it. Thats why I was wondering if there was a place in Mississippi so I could train when I’m at school and when I’m home.
