Re: real life krav
quote Ryan:There’s really no way to attribute this to a style, but I’ll beg to differ on the “lucky blows” comment. Under that kind of stress (multiple attackers, traffic), to remain moving and striking against multiple opponents, and connect as many times as he did, is not indicative of luck. I’ve seen boxing matches where guys didn’t have that kind of accuracy. My lucky blows comment was a little harsh, the guy clearly has some training in some fighting system

I dont recognisse that as krav maga, I think he is flaying wildly and got in some lucky blows, added to that the guys he is fighting look hopeless! That said he did well

quote Vinman:you did the right thing, but I know how much it pisses me off when I’ve walked away from fights, wondering if I did the right thing….even when I knew that they deserved a good beating 🙂Agree. But yes, walking away was the right thing to do

quote Benelli:I think I can honestly say I have avoided more confrontations because I am situational more aware of whatís going on around me.Added to that since Iíve been doing KM for a few years now I feel very confident I can take care of myself and because of that really donít feel threatened like I used to.
In short my self esteem in the ability to protect myself and loved ones has allowed me to walk away.
A fine post.
Ive been in a few fights myself and as an earlier poster said , I used KM without even knowing what it was…
