Thundro (and anyone else in Tulsa) – Unfortunately Kent has retired. His kids are of the age that his evening classes conflicted with their activities and he wants to spend more time with them. He left the door open to teach again when his kids leave, but that is a few years away.
However Extreme Krav Maga (https://www.facebook.com/PureKravMagaTulsa) has, according to the FB page, an Owasso class and is gearing up for a Tulsa class in October – location TBD.
I am a level 4 and have taken from Krav from Kent for 12 years but I am going to give them a try. They represent they teach IDF (vs. Kent was KM Worldwide), which is just fine. I just don’t want to give up Krav.
I’ll try to post some updates if/when I go to the new IDF Krav class. I am really looking forward to it. Good luck to all. Yours in Krav – KMtakinKM

May 7th class was canceled.
Remaining Classes for May are 9, 15,16,21,22,28,30.

ladyraven6 – Yes, the classes are going on and are open to anyone who shows up. Here is the location and schedule. Just come on out. Kent stays very busy and doesn’t return calls very often.
Here are the class dates for April. Class is from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 815 E. 3rd between Kenosha & Lansing downtown Tulsa. You need to walk in the common entry and the door to his studio is on the right.

The main problem is that his house is his gym. I would not feel very comfortable asking to teach or even teaching is his home.
His old place was just a gym and he would occasionally let others teach so he is open to that idea. I just hope he gets well and stays well. He has had health issues now for over 2 years and I know he is ready to get healthy.

He injured his knee and canceled the last 2 weeks. I will talk to him and see if there is a way to get him to post. His girlfriend, Jill, sends out emails when class is canceled. If you go to clase give her your email and she’ll add you to the list.
If I get a cancellation email I’ll try to post. But sometimes the emails do not come until 5pm or so and class is at 5:30.
My guess on the schedule is
Feb 5,6,12,14,20,21,26, & 27.
