Re: Getting over being glove shy?
if you are smaller you need to be quicker. also to learn at a faster pace you need to try and get with a higher level guy. they should be willing to back off and let you learn instead of just pounding on you.

First I would try modifying your diet. Make sure your getting a well balanced diet. This may be why your body is getting fatigued. On the other hand, your body may be telling you to take a little break. I usually take a week or two break around july and december to let my body recooperate. But make sure that you don’t let that little break turn into not coming back. I know once you get out of that habit of training its really hard to get back in there. good luck

The time it takes you to move through the levels will also have alot to do with how many students there are that actually go to classes regularly. You may have to spend a little time waiting on students to catch up with you to have enough people to test with. (at a smaller school at least)

i think the drills were great for a higher level student. looked fun! but definitely not made for the average beginner.

post workout meal but anyway, use 35 grams of dextrose with 5 grams of creatine and glutimine and a balanced meal within 45 min of your workout. keeps the soreness away and gets ya ready for tommorrow. 🙂

protein shake at six (1 hour before class). try to get a good carb earlier like at 3 or 12.

DIET. looks like you workout enough, so a clean diet and lots of protien will do it.
