I thought it might be, but I wasnt sure. I am seriously glad that you clarified that for me. I completely understand your predicament and I would feel the same. I also hope that he gets well and stays well. Being healthy and staying healthy should be the goal for everyone, that is what krav is all about. Even the trainers in Israel understand that. Hope to see you there next time KM. Thanks again.

quote KevinMack:A few other names:1. Nir Maman – many of you have heard about him but if you ever get the opportunity to train with him…take it!
2. Guy Cohen – A Haim Zut black belt who was very active in the 80s. He lived in Philly for a short time and trained with Alan F. and his students so I have always heard a lot of great things. Many of the Israeli instructors still talk about him with respect. Considered one of the best KM fighters.
3. Chalacho Balai and Ilon Fadlan – Two Haim Zut black belts that I got the chance to train with last year. Great fighters and instructors. Also very friendly and approachable. My instructor always used to say that Haim Zut made the best fighters.
4.Shachar Klarfeld – used to run the KM program in the IDF for a long time. Now works with Eyals KMG.
5. Miki Asulin – has the distinction of being one of the original 10 who received a black belt from Imi. Was working with the IKMF for awhile. Not sure about now.
6. Ron Rotem – Eli Avikzar student and K.A.M.I instructor. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XoJyOHX4cuQ
I agree with you about Haim Zut and his students. I had an opportunity to train for 5 months with Chalacho and Ilon. They were excellent at teaching technique and they were always willing to help. They also would not hesitate to push you to your limits and beyond. Chalacho just started a company that helps train security, police, and military. There are several videos of it on you tube. I recommend watching them.

Thank you KM, as always you are extremely helpful. I was wondering how close you were to Kent? I know he isn’t 100 percent, and I completely understand. Heck, I would be completely against him permanently hurting himself. I don’t want to seem too forward, but I was wondering if anyone there (at the gym) could take over for him when he isn’t up to it. Even if it was a person he had confidence in to teach the class. I mean he did have us all sign wavers and he could watch instead of demonstrate. Just a thought if anyone wanted to ask him. Also I remember seeing some guys there that I heard had been to Krav conferences and training gigs. Either way I appreciate all the help and Kent’s training.

KM I went to a couple of classes but I was never sent an email of the schedule. I am trying to get the new schedule for February. Can you post that? Also I tried to go to the last 2 classes that were posted, but it seemed that they were both cancelled. Is there anyway to convince Kent to post on here or somewhere else when he cancels a class?

Awkward. Sorry KM. Still appreciate all the help. Maybe you can hit the pads real hard next time we are there and make me feel some pain.

I finally made it to a class and i wasnt disappointed. Not exactly what I am used too, but close. I wish the class was a half an hour longer, but that is just wishful thinking on my part. I will be back again. I hope class is still on tomorrow as I havent received any emails yet. I would like to thank kmtakinkm for giving me so much help. Dont know if I would have ever made it to the class if she hadnt given me so much information.

I went to the building where they stated to just “drop by.” And there was no one there. I then talked to one of the businesses across the hall and that employee stated that he hadnt seen anyone all day. So I called Kent on the number that was left on this forum, and I got no reply. I left that message on Wednesday when the class was supposedly taking place. I have taken Krav in Israel for 6 months and I wanted to continue my training. If anyone wants to maybe train outside of this class I would be down for it. Other than that I hope I will get a call back or a posting on this forum.
