Actually I know better who I trained with…:) Imi was in charge of the KM and physical education for about 2o years, and Sachar also. The rest of the commanders – with respect – spent a lot less time in this position.

2. It is a nice legend, that Darren was Imi’s student. Go Israel and ask around, they will tell you: Darren was Eyal’s student. You dont believe it? Go to LA center, check the diploma hangin on the wall. I am in Israel every year, you? I trained under the person who was in charge in the army after Imi. You?
3. What does it say to you about a man, when the person throwing a legal case on his own master?

Before you start badmouthing on Eyal, think about this: you trying to put bad light on your master’s master. Thats right, baby..

In this case trust him, follow him…I am not willing to change your opinion. I know enough to judge him. The way he moves with the pistols show one thing for me. He was never spec op.

It is very easy to judge Moni.
– Seems he misleading the public on his past
– he released bunch of videos, so his approach and techniques can be judged
– his ex students opinion

Summary – he is not the right person to follow.

Most of your email was answered by morkravi alrady. But I have ONE thing to say. Mr. Avi Nardia tried to prove, Krav-Maga is an unknown terminology in the IDF. There is even a letter on his site.

Basically that shows a lot about this person. If KM is not a known term, what the hell I was doing at the base, where IDF is training KM instructors? Come on…

I understand your points, and with most of it, I agree. Being idealistic, yes, teamwork would be better. And between us, I am not even sure, how much the previous director – Mr. John Whitman – was responsible for most of the problem.

Again, I will not go into a conversation on the subject on KMWW-IKMF. First, this is a KMWW forum, would be impolite to do anything like this. Second, any open conflicts between KMWW and IKMF makes Moni Aizik stronger. Third, I cant be very objective on the lawsuit topic, as for me this is – even I understand the business decission behind – still disgusting.

Anyway, as I understand IKMF is willing to start their own operation in the USA, and why not? KMWW tried to expand to Europe…Chance to an agreement between them 0%, but that is my opinion…Am I happy with that? Surely not.

First of all, yes there are many people with high level diploma from Imi, who got this with a trick, when Imi was in his late years. But, lets discuss this, when we all gonna around our 80th years. If anybody used him this way, again, shame on him.

I dont think though the big names are like that, no matter which federation we talk about. ( KMWW, IKMA, IKMF…etc) If anybody questioning Darren’s background, fine, but he also has a signed document from Eyal, hanging on the wall in LA. Expert 6. Period.

(If there is anything why I have not so much respect for Darren, is the fact he filed legal case against his own master. That is – by my standard – is something a true martial artist would never do. But again, I dont wanna lead the conversation this direction, and I also accept the fact, many think different way.)

What I see shame and even more, dangerous for the KM community, so bastards are using the name, not even anyobody slapped them on the face.

Back to Moni. So seems, none of these men are teaching basically the system, what they advertised, none of them has the credit to say what they say, and based on lies they are advertising/selling a product what is a cheat, based on what they claim. Hm…
