If there are any statisticians out there that can crunch some numbers in regards to homicide rates across countries that have the right to bear arms and those that do not… I’m sure the figures would highlight some really negative facts that gun lobbyists don’t want to be coomon domain…
There was an incident yesterday in which a toddler picked up a gun and shot herself because she thought it was a wii remote… Very sad
would also like to hear from the other side in which carrying these firearms actually saved their lives… To give it a balanced spin on things

Whilst not as “exciting” as an all out slugfest, I have usedKrav’s awareness heightening skills to avoid a few dodgy encounters as well as de-escalation… As the saying goes, just cause you can kick someone’s butt, doesn’t mean you have to… That’s what Krav is all about in my opinion!
Having said that, I did do the zombie drill once before I even knew what it was (pre-Krav)

Hi, my advice would be to investigate schools that are affiliated with organizations that have been around for a long while… You should have a look at those guys in comparison to further research and then make your decision..

Inky, hope I haven’t offended you (it wasn’t my intention at all) and no I’m not a KMWW basher… I wouldn’t post here and read the forum if I was!
The intention of my post and the article is to highlight that very real scenario where a martial art becomes mainstream and the editing of the video (by the news channel reporting on KM) makes it look like a regular exercise class than KM.
It is a sad reality that as this system of ours becomes more popular, it might lead some to offer and promote the KM aerobic workout (which is a fantastic workout) and thereby dilute the real benefits of KM.
Sorry if i’ve offended anyone from that particular school as well with my post, I can sympathise with the way the media may spin things into what they want it to be and clearly this was intended to be a nice fluff piece to round out the regular news or whatever.
