You can always try the pro shop section of the KM website if you have not done so already and Revgear.com. They sell some Krav apparel as well.

Nasty sprain to the right knee that sat me for a month. Nagging left elbow injury that sat me for just under two weeks and a rolled left ankle that may or may not have something still wrong with it.
But there is nothing worse than having to sit!

They are a bag class favorite at the NTC SO and the bain of more than one student.

I would also suggest approaching your instructor with your concerns. I am willing to bet they will be very understanding. One thing that is very easy to forget in a class full of people is that you are not competing against anyone else. You are there to push yourself and learn. Everybody has strengths and everybody has areas they need to improve on. Try not to worry about the conditioning of those around you and train at a pace you can handle. I am not saying go to a class and pick and choose what you want to do and ignore what you don’t want because that is just rude. But if the best you have is 3 push-ups and everyone else did 30… than I say give me the best 3 you got and tomorrow we will work on getting 4 done. Give it YOUR all each class and no one will fault you.
KM is not here for only those who are in “UFC shape.” It is here for anyone who has an interest in learning how to protect them self. If that is your goal than you should be welcome in any class. thumbsupApril 2, 2008 at 6:21 pm #64610jay99MemberRe: What do you like in KM fitness classes?
Personally I am split between the opinions shared by Steve and Sean above. I love getting lost in the loud booming music and quick change of the combos. I prefer the combos be a little more realistic with one or two sets of a “WTF is that?!” combo thrown in just for fun. To be totally honest though I am not a fan of tombstone pads or really any partner drills in a bag class. I actually kind of enjoy the selfish side to it. I just want to get lost in it all. Just pushing myself as hard as I can and tune out the rest. I am not totally against partner work, like tricep dips on your partners legs as they hold the invisible chair pose against the wall or working together for crunches. Can never have too many crunches. But I prefer to keep all pads and belt drills to the side. Throw in some good kettle bell work or some dumbbell stuff so I can feel like I lifted a little weight as well and you will have me coming back for more, guaranteed!

Good job, Erica! He should be thankful you were not dreaming of a front kick.
My only two dreams came as a direct result of phase A…
The first came as a result of a drill where when ever our instructor called A’s you grab a pad and your partner (B) starts to knee. Last one to get to work has to do push ups. This was a standing drill during our Phase A. Sure enough, on the first morning I got to sleep in I awoke in panic because I couldn’t find a pad when A’s were called.
The second is not so much a dream but very similar. I underwent surgery just days after finishing phase A and as I began to awake in the recovery area I immediately sat up in the bed and brought my hands to my face and tucked my chin. The nurse quickly came over to sit me back but I shot right back up insisting I needed to keep my hands up to protect my face.

Didn’t Rocky III end in a similar scene with Rocky and Apollo Creed in their own basement training ring….

The response was not WTF just happened… it was LET’S GET F OUT OF HERE!
March 28, 2008 at 6:47 pm #64464jay99MemberRe: Scissor Kick
I saw it happen! Well sort of… I saw Sean sort of stalking his pray, I blinked, and they were on the ground and Sean was looking up at me like I was next.
I think everyone in the room got a little more nervous when they realized a new danger had emerged….:box2:
March 26, 2008 at 9:00 pm #64353jay99MemberRe: what do you like in a KM class??
I am going to echo what both Miriam and Stafford said re: Sean’s fight class on Thursday at 6:45. The class brings all the elements to the table that were mentioned and more. If you are unsure than by all means have a run through the Gauntlet or The Ring of Fire. They should more than meet the standard you seek. The training also takes you outside of the normal comfort zones and makes you think outside of just “sparring” your opponent.
It is important to always remember that KM is not only here for those that love to train under conditions that would scare the normal folk. It is here to also provide the normal folk some realistic options for self defense so they are able “to walk in pieces”. thumbsup

Great rotation of the hips, and the pivot while turning was perfect!

Let us not forget that to much ibuprofen will burn a hole in the stomach lining. I think we have all figured out by now that doing this stuff as much as we do is going to leave you with a pretty constant stream of some nagging little injury. Accordingly it is wise to seek out more natural remedies or supplements rather than only an otc med that can do more harm than good with a little to much use.

I am with Mara on this one. My little lady said she was feeling like a Krav widow so I had her take a class with me. Problem solved. She was hooked after one fitness class and now all I have to worry about is how to pay for all the new clothes. = )
