August 30, 2006 at 12:29 pm #49384sexybaldmanMemberThat is good to hear Sean. Glad you are liking it.
August 25, 2006 at 7:15 pm #49331sexybaldmanMemberDang it! I read the express every day on my way into DC and didn’t see that. 🙁

Isn’t she on celebrity fit club 4?

quote \”mcwosl\:Thanks for the reply, MaskedKat, I wanted to get some verification on a ranking claim. I know that in order to be ranked in any discipline you must first \”compete\” somewhere and/or win some fights. Hopefully, I’ll get some more answers. Thanks. You mean ranked as a fighter? Not all discplines spar or fight. Just curious why you seek out someone that is #1.
August 23, 2006 at 4:19 pm #49253sexybaldmanMemberThere is no way of knowing who is number 1. A krav person is number 1 if they survive an attack. Plus, what are they suppose to be number 1 at? There is no s uch things for other MA styles either. Maybe in the competition circuit, but that doesn’t count for the whole world, US or other countries.
August 23, 2006 at 11:54 am #49244sexybaldmanMemberBas is a riot. I love him as a fighter and person. 😀 I hope to meet him one day at a seminar. 🙂
August 22, 2006 at 12:24 pm #49197sexybaldmanMemberIt was okay. Some cool info but I would like to see the force those fast roundhouse kicks the TKD guy was generating. I don’t think was a lot.
Also, how can you compare a 100lbs something kung guys punch to a 230lbs boxers?
It would have been cool to see what power was generated during a fight and not static.
Dont’ get me wrong, I think they are on a great course linking science with Martial Arts/system but they could have done it better.
August 22, 2006 at 2:08 am #49188sexybaldmanMemberFunny as it may have been and maybe staged I think that was a bad idea. It make krav look like a joke. IMO. Or maybe not krav as a whole, but that class. It is serious stuff we do, and I know we should not be so serious in class but the main streem public see that and don’t know the real deal they will get the wrong impression. IMO

quote \”KravMDjeff\:I was the big tall redhead in the video near the end in the group to the left.. We were encouraged to yell profanities and racial/sexual stuff to give the feeling of a mob attack, so Bryan, our GM, had to edit out some of the sound.GK, yes, it’s quite a big facility. 10,000 sq. feet
Sexy, you can feel free. It’s in Columbia-halfway between DC and Baltimore.
Thanks for the invite. I will have to plan a trip up there. And the drill did look like fun. 😀

No offense, but what do you think WT meant? In my subject it mean What that?? It was abbrivated. I guess I could have done WTF or WTH.

quote \”Giantkiller\:Different? Like what?_________________
Giantkillerfor example. I noticed on the krav DVD, that when a front hook is thrown the lead floor flares out while the hips move. We are told not to flare out the foot. A little different, but just curious to why it is this way.

quote \”sleek\:Can Krav Maga teach you to defend against a sucker punch?I think so! I think any system/art can do that. The trained at least I have a sense or idea who/what is around me. If I would the dude squaring off with the guy I would have had the guy to the side, that sucker punch, in my perpherial. But in this situation ya don’t really know what was going on. I assume the guy that sucker punched was a friend of the dude that took his coat off. I would hate for the suker puncher to be a friend of the one he hit. 😯
