Wow Kat, what all did you have done?? I had surgery Thursday. My doc claims in 6-8 weeks I can start training. Painful procedure I am putting it down but doing alot of whining to my wife!! I am looking forward to using my kettlebell to help rehab.

    Keep your chin up.

Thanks GD, I just ordered the journal, I had read the first Zone book years ago and wondered if the blocks had changed from the initial plan. From what I remember it was somewhat difficult to calculate the blocks. Hope this helps make it a bit more simple.

I bought the 35lb. bell, it came in a starter pack and was the suggested starter size for beginners. The book and dvd came today just started reading it. Any tips you may have would be greatly appreciated. 😆

Thank you for the info garddawg. I just ordered one and am anxiously awaiting its arrival. I only hope I can figure out how to use it and get a good workout, I bought the starter kit with the book and dvd. I recently moved and the nearest KM training facility is about 50 miles away, still trying to figure out a solution to that dilemma.

    thanks again.

Not sure if you have ever read any of Geoff Thompsons books, but I think his material is excellent, I would suggest checking out his website, they have a forum, IM sure you could find some like minded self protection fans that could provide input as to what is available in the south of England. Good Luck.

Giantkiller, we must have read the same articles. I think Keysi was the method of fighting in the movie, never heard of it myself. Here is the article:

When I first started doing fall breaks I immediately thought \”taking the kids ice skating should be much less painful for me\”…. 😆 Nice to hear it helped you.
